I'm liking the subtle modifications and recolors on the courts and the thorough Hydrogen atom theme carrying through the AoS and the jokers. Very usable for magic I think! Solid yes for me.

Agreed! To me, it gives it a ‘Supreme’ feel to it, which I hatevedus wrote:Text additions on the courts are jarring. They don't fit.

Or Helly Hansen (HH) for that mattershermjack wrote:Agreed! To me, it gives it a ‘Supreme’ feel to it, which I hatevedus wrote:Text additions on the courts are jarring. They don't fit.

No. 92 does, AND it comes in a lead collector's boxshiroo56 wrote:Does deck no.15 in this series glow in the dark?

No delivery to Iran and North Korea though...MagikFingerz wrote:No. 92 does, AND it comes in a lead collector's boxshiroo56 wrote:Does deck no.15 in this series glow in the dark?

Yikes. Sick burn with a layer of science behind it. I must say, I approve. lolRäpylätassu wrote:I'm afraid this deck isn't the bomb.

Thanks for the kind words. Too bad the back design is such a downershiroo56 wrote:Does deck no.15 in this series glow in the dark?
I actually like the tuck design and the overall little details, (like the 2 of Hearts reveal on the Queen, which is clever made) which are sprinkled through the deck. But 2 nice jokers (I really dig them) and some details don't really do it for me these days anymore. The back design is a huge downer for me. Can't really put it into words, but I don't like it at all. For the tuckbox I would definetly prefer a more sturdy matt cardboard (like the A1 Dot or 6006), either white or off-white for a vintage school lab look and not a glossy standard tuck.

It would be great to eventually release a box set lolMagikFingerz wrote:Oh wow, this'll be a great series! Too bad you have to pay for shipping 118 times

I doubt the series would ever go that high, I mean who would want a deck of Yttirum or Hafnium??KT52 wrote:This is gonna be a long series...1 down 117 more to go!

I neither hate nor love Supreme, but I respect how they use of a simple logo help to build a brand that many try to mimic.shiroo56 wrote:Or Helly Hansen (HH) for that mattershermjack wrote:Agreed! Are you referring to the back design, or the court cards, or both?TwoPiece wrote:"Hydrogen" being plastered everywhere is annoying, otherwise, it's not the worst deck.

Using the periodic table a series does open up a lot of possibilities. I have thought about the same thing — making a radioactive element with glow in the dark ink could be really awesome. Or maybe ink that is sensitive to UV light? Anyone know if its been done before?MagikFingerz wrote:No. 92 does, AND it comes in a lead collector's boxshiroo56 wrote:Does deck no.15 in this series glow in the dark?

Thanks for the info, I'll look into it.BaconWise wrote:I believe Gio over at Thirdway Industries has done a few decks that have some special blacklight features. I think the Lunatica set has it? Very fun deck and on my wishlist, though I'm sure many folks here can confirm or correct my guess.
That would be a cool direction to go with your element series, to highlight some of the more popular elements, rather than a run at all of them.

I may have been misunderstood, the next element I have planed is oxygen, not water. I chose oxygen to help show off the versatility of the tuck cases. When two hydrogen tuck cases are placed next to an oxygen tuck case it represents the molecule water.Decknowledgy wrote:I think the periodic concept is great, but you might want to pick out a handful of iconic or unusual elements you can play with. The next planned deck which is H2O, I'm afraid it won't gather so much attention since water has been done many times over in cards...

lol, you got it!Decknowledgy wrote:No wonder!! So it was a set of O and H2! You sneaky little...![]()

No worries at all mate. You can't please everyone. Just as I wrote, I can't even really describe why I don't like the back design.elementalcards wrote:Too bad the back design is such a downer

Lunatica (and also Monolith) use Neon Pantone Ink, who reflects blacklight. Lunatica has neon ink both on Solstice/Equinox tucks and the cards.BaconWise wrote:I believe Gio over at Thirdway Industries has done a few decks that have some special blacklight features. Actually, Tragic Royalty has been around since 2008, if not earlier. Not sure because that was before I began collecting.shiroo56 wrote: Bicycle released the "Tragic Royalty" deck last year with special glow in the dark inks.

Thanks for clarifying.shermjack wrote:Actually, Tragic Royalty has been around since 2008, if not earlier. Not sure because that was before I began collecting.
