Glad I didn’t do the diagram. Are you a brick backer? Yes - Smart move! No - Really? Are you sure? Have you done the math? Check you work again!

With the mention of Venn diagrams, I thought I'd post this, I thought it was funny, I'm not trying to be cheeky. :D

So you want to get all of the four Parlour Decks, great! So, what is it going to cost you?

If you get the new four deck option, you are looking at $90 for US backers or $100 for international backers. So, what about a brick plus the new Parlour Dynastinæ LTD? You are looking at $170 (non-EB and not sure about any extra cost for International backers). For that extra $80 you get 9 more decks.

What would those 9 decks cost you if you bought 3 three deck tiers? Yeah that would be $49x3=$147. Basically, that means you get those extra decks for nearly HALF PRICE! Actually, I worked it out at 45.5% off. Now, that doesn't mean everyone should jump on a brick plus the new limited deck. Some people really just don't want those extra nine decks (and brick box), even for only $8.89 each. Still, some might appreciate the math.

This is kind of typical of Lorenzo's campaigns. His packages can offer some real value. You might get more than you wanted, but for some it is just too good a deal to pass up.

And, if you need some carat cases to put all those decks on display, Shermjack can set you up. :D

If it’s anything like cinemas down here, you have at least 20 minutes of ads to get online

Tehlu's tits and teeth! 100K and they haven't even released the gilded deck. This is quite a thing to witness and, so far, this campaign has been flawless. At this pace, Omar is going to end up producing 73 special editions for all of the new stretch goals they will be creating. Just bananas (insert banana emoji).

Darn, I had that custom brick box bonus in mind. The only problem was I can't put a comparable value on it, but still wanted to mention it as a bonus. I forgot about the extra cards and that they do have an additional add on value.

It looks like you have strong interest in the new tiers open tomorrow, so those should sell well. Not too much farther to go to pass Alex Chen's Elixer Kickstarter campaign (another campaign that expanded way beyond the creator's initial expectation).

Sorry about that machonekevin, but UC can be a dangerous place. I just didn't want someone after the campaign realize they should have pledged something different. I also keep in mind some people really don't want the extra decks, even them having a huge discount for them with some sweet extras as well.

That flow chart gave me a good 30 seconds of laugh when I saw it in my email at work. A very short break that came at the perfect time! I also added $30 for this crazy/illustrious/luxurious/valuable/(however else would fit the description) deck on top of my EB brick pledge! No way can I turn down such a deck, only hope we can all get more later via BackerKit from extras!!

Kudos to you TGW/Lorenzo for this highly successful campaign so far, wishing you the very best for a great finish!

The Parlour Playing Cards (TGW) -- LIVE on KS

Unread post by TheGentlemanWake »

Just floored by how amazing this ride has been thus far. I remember Lorenzo’s wildly High expectation after day one, his craziest prediction was 110k. Which was based on the amazing first 24 hours when he looked at the typical curve of his past projects. We just surpassed it with 13 days to go.

How far will the project climb? [emoji2][emoji854][emoji123]

I started out pledging a set. Then the black got added. Now a new Exclusive deck. The difference between my current pledge is $60 upgrade to the lowest tier that has the Dynastinae Deck. I just cant afford that.

I had a feeling that 777 decks would sell out soon. Now, the second 10pm wave may sell slower than the 10am one (since the first wave covers both the US and Europe and the other one would primarily be for Asia/Australia/NZ and those US backers who did not manage to secure a deck) but still. Congratulations TGW and Lorenzo!

The campaign still is steamrolling along. What is also nice is the nearly 1,300 backers. I think it is also important to bring in backers. It would be interesting to know how many are new Kickstarter backers. I noticed though that Heretic is the highest number of backers for Stockholm17, with 1,408 backers. I think you will beat that number. The difference though is the significantly higher amount of funding per backer. That is due to the increasing cool options and frankly really good package deals. Then again, I sure wish I could go back in time and pick up some of Stockholm17's Heretic XI bricks for the Kickstarter cost of $115 .

While talking about bricks, it looks like you are probably going to be producing somewhere between 300-400 brick sets! Just wow! Given that many (compared with like 70 of the Heretic XI bricks). I am not sure they are going to be super rare. However, given the comparative value of the price per deck, I sure don't care! I am probably going to open one brick set and keep one sealed. Darn, now I am doing that with bricks, not decks.

The campaign's total funding now has exceeded Chen's Elixir and just behind the Luna Moon campaign. It looks like you have a decent chance of even passing the Mint 1 campaign (Which had over 2,100 backers).

Just incredible! We are threatening to creep into the top ten Playing Card Deck campaigns in kickstarter history. Not bad for a rookie creator! HAHA. Although Lorenzo's involvement makes that a misleading claim. Regardless, thanks again to the all the amazing supporters! Astonishingly still 13 days to go here. Basically two more WEEKS of this. I really have lost sense of where this could go. Regardless I'll be grateful and smiling along the way. New deck review (unrelated to parlour) coming soon too!

Just to add... there was a time.. early on... where I wondered why Lorenzo would even partner with me. He didn't really need me afterall. He had a slew of successful campaigns. I probably only had 1200 subscribers when we first discussed it. Not that almost 6k subs is a lot. Because it's not... it's just that the community we've built around the channel is very strong and tight knit and we all HAVE THE SAME BELIEFS of quality, utitlity and beauty. And I think it's a great vehicle for a brand. I definitely chose the right artistic/business partner... I hope I lived up to my end of the deal! :)
