As far as for JuFiN and is his assumption (we all know what assuming does, lol) - he is 100% incorrect. I am absolutely helping the preserve and if anyone has any doubt, feel free to reach out to Afton or Rich at the preserve and ASK them just as JuFiN easily could have, rather than perpetuate ignorance.

I have no doubt you care deeply about the cause, and infact do volunteer your time at the preserve. I am not calling anything you have stated a lie. I simply haven't seen you state how this deck actually helps. Or more precisely how "it's actually raising funds for a pretty unique and noble cause". Because no where in the campaign that I see is it mentioned that any of the funds from the campaign are going to the preserve. And I wanted clarity on the issue.

And again the offer for a free half brick should one donate (through you) $75 dollars is an extremely generous one. But if the funding for the deck does not directly benefit the Preserve in any way then statements in the campaign like "THE PIGS ARE COUNTING ON YOU!" and "The pigs thank you." feel dishonest at best.

In addition I wanted to post some links to other ways of supporting the cause because I fear your interactions with other members of this forums may have caused people who might want to support the Preserve to not as a result of not wanting to support you. And I'm sure you would share in my dismay should such a great cause be "hurt" in this way as a result of your actions. So I offer an alternative way of supporting the [BACON] s that doesn't require approval of you, your deck or your attitude.

I will say that I don't often take the underlined into consideration. I enjoy a good debate, but when it's devolved below that, I need not waste my time. I pretty much conveyed the same point concerning the ad hominems.

OK, as everyone here knows, I try my best to let everyone have and express opinions, but also keep everything civil.

As we all should know by now, "magic" and magician oriented decks tend to be more standard than most custom decks on purpose and for an obvious reason.

Some of us are more opinionated than others, of course. "Everyone has one. Some smell more than others". 'Nuff said, please keep things civil and don't sling personal feelings or insults with opinions.

I took "lazy", "garbage", "sausage" and "lousy psychotherapist" as personal attacks not dissimilar from the one name call I dropped, but yeah I shouldn't have let myself stoop to such a level of immaturity. As far as repeating, I agree as well. I made my point quite clearly about non-designers and non cause-supporters' comments being invalid, and though OTHERS' responses to this were the mere defense, versus an original defense (because there IS no viable defense), it would've also made more sense for me to walk away from disregard for common sense.

I'm done here, but I also don't think it's fair that you get to make up your own narrative for our interaction and pass it off as fact.

You lost your shit at the mention of the word "sausage" and implied that I bullied you, without any adequate explanation for how a newbie who's been here two weeks would possibly bully anyone, much less why that word would be considered bullying by any sane interpretation. You went on to tell me to choke on dick and called me insignificant, and repeated that, multiple times, and made extra clear that it's not only my opinion that means nothing to you, I am apparently of zero value as a human being in general.

It's true, I called your deck garbage - after you told me to choke on dick. Prior to that I spent 20 minutes typing up an explanation, for your benefit, of exactly what constructive criticisms I have of your deck, which others largely appeared to agree with.

And here at the end, you have offered zero words of apology for acting like a tool, you just pass it off as though you had no hand in this and your sole mistake is not walking away.

As others have mentioned - one who subscribes to the "like-minded" psychosis of Daniel Madison is not worth wasting your time on. DM is a lazy you-know-what who's all ass and no class. This type of person will blame anyone and everyone else and will never accept responsibility or fault.

Oh well, everyone, I tried. You can easily see who the real problem is here: TwoPiece and Outsider. Nice words and attempt at resolution extended from me, yet TwoPiece meets me with more "lazy" insults despite him never having done a single thing in the world of deck creation (not even made a "lazy" deck - wouldn't that be lazier than "lazy", lol) and calling me "not worth wasting... time on". I also never refused to own my words to Outsider and clearly explained what I meant. Here - let me say it again reeeeal slowwwww for you, Outsider: I was saying your words were insignficant, not youuuuuuuuu, even if I worded it wrong. Okay, li'l fella? I mentioned my day job to share my true care for others, despite my not putting up with their juvenile antics, yet Outsider still attempts to use this as a jab. As far as "everyone" ganging up on me, there were less than a handful. So no, TwoPiece, as I mentioned, YOU'VE already been pointed out to me as a problem here by several others, whether or not you believe that, and while there were a few others, you and Outsider are clearly either personality disordered, disheartened by the fact that neither of you have done a thing in the world of deck design, or just like to argue. If I'm wrong - hear me clearly - IF I'M WRONG (before you strategically use my words against me and tell me I'm "calling you" personality disordered, etc. etc.), then prove me wrong by attempting to resolve as I already have, and showing us you're made of more than your STILL and PRESENT ongoing behavior, the both of you.

PS - Yes, even now some of my above wording could be better, I ADMIT. But as I read their ongoing ignorance it infuriates me and as much as try, it's so hard to channel my inner Jesus. PSA: Experience as a designer will likely be limited if you retort with the mannerism of a child, cry wolf, and continually make backhanded statements about other people.

So to reiterate, once again, if y'all can't play nice with one another than simply move on. And, if y'all don't have anything that - at the very least - can be deemed somewhat constructive and/or collaborative in effort to add to the convo about this deck AND can be expressed tactfully with all things considered, then there's no need to say anything else at all as everyone is already very quite aware of what'cha all think about/feel towards one another as made quite loudly and repetitively clear, so then move right on along. Because as it stands, y'all have done quite the job at cultivating a hostile environment, making it difficult and intimidating for anyone else in the community who may want to contribute and/or engage in the discussion pertaining strictly to this project and its deck to do so and y'all know that that is just not what we're all about here at UC.

Seriously, though. I wanted to add my two cents from both sides of this weird situation:

Coming from a designing background, I know how it can be deceiving how much work goes into a design. It's difficult to distill all of the drafts, self-doubt, research, revisions, cursing, and passion into a tiny project like a deck of cards. I can also appreciate the skill involved to create the boar's head and tail as they are solid examples of good illustration. I already mentioned I am a fan of custom courts, so this deck is not for me, but I can tell some real effort went into the artwork you did make.

On the other side, I would say that design experience (or lack thereof) should have no bearing when it comes to the opinion of potential backers. Neither should their experience with donating to a cause. This community looks first and foremost at DESIGN and why or why not a particular design appeals to their wallet. Many in this community are also interested in suggesting ways to help you succeed. Having a cause attached to a project is a great enhancement to the project but any criticism here will likely be focused on the execution of the deck.

I think it's a good thing you are attempting to extend an olive branch because there are a lot of members of this community who may become great supporters of your future projects. While you have every right to be defensive and stand up to the blunt criticism, I just felt the need to point out that some of your arguments ignore the fact that these are potential backers with valuable opinions. It may not be fair to have a negative light cast on your project but I can see you will likely fund (congrats!) and perhaps you can find some useful input for future project. Cheers
