Cartamundi's famed B9 stock
This blurb from e:
Printed on Cartamundi's famed B9 stock for durability, these outlast any deck we've ever put it head-to-head against.
https://www.ellusionist.com/green-keepe ... 92&mc_eid=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;[UNIQID]
So, is this just world-famous in San Rafael, CA? The new Stripys are using this stock.
Can anyone add some info on this? I have never been too keen on Cartamundi cards - is this really anything new?

Re: Cartamundi's famed B9 stock
I know of the following decks that are on the new B9 stock:
Copag 310 Red
Copag 310 Blue
Copag NEO Mandala
Copag NEO Nature
Copag NEO Wave
Butterfly Red
Butterfly Blue
RAVN Purple
Cobra by JP Games
Empire Keeper Red V2
Empire Keeper Green (tuck-less)
I am no cardist, but am somewhat of a snob (won't by NPCC because I think they feel worse than MPC) when it comes to the feel of cards and I do like the feel of these cards very much.

Re: Cartamundi's famed B9 stock
As mentioned in another thread I might even like it more than uspcc... although I’m still pretty brand loyal to bicycle.
Other not mentioned decks I own using it:
Pike and Clover
Burger Deck
Regalia
And some that funded on Ks but haven’t gotten yet:
House of the rising spade
Watermelon deck
Anchors
Neo - Wave
Diva
So clearly they are marking a move into the custom card market with this new B9 finish, and I am happy to see it.

You can add Lorenzo’s House of Spades Cartomancer Deck to the B9 list.

Ravn Purple has another finish --> C9² , also used on Cardistry Touch
I'm wondering if Cartamundi still offers C9², as all newer Projects going with B9 True Linen finish.

currently playing with a Cobra deck. Love the feel. I have my suspicions that the Jaspas Deck Favourite Day Edition is also this stock. I may be wrong.

Re: Cartamundi's famed B9 stock
Favourite Day's stock looks similar to the stock used on Glamor Nuggets. I may be wrong as well but do know that GNuggs was advertised initially to be printed in Taiwan but it got printed in China in the end.TheGentlemanWake wrote:currently playing with a Cobra deck. Yes, they still offer C9² finish. C9² is expensive compared to B9 by the way, & when I say expensive, the difference is huge for a 1000 deck print run.

They are actually Ellusionist Keepers...Empire Keepers are from Bomb Magic and were printed in Taiwan by Taiwan Playing Card Company or TWPCC.flyers3003 wrote:I know of the following decks that are on the new B9 stock:

Thanks Sherman, I actually did mean Ellusionist Keepers. Not sure why I typed Empire. Re: Cartamundi's famed B9 stock
So, in 2020 this stock is already a past. I wanted to track decks with this stock that are still available to purchase. I started with buying out all Copag 310s in Czech republic. Well there was just 7 of them. Then a bunch of White Regalia and recently a brick of Green Keepers (there's a over $75 free shipping on Ellusionist website so I used it). Here's the list so far. I will keep it fresh. Any tips appreciated!
Copag 310 (classic): could not find anywhere
Flaminko:
Citrus
Watermelon
Lollipop
Ellusionist:
Green Keepers
Jurassic Park
Little Deck of Horrors
Salt & Bone
Parlour by TGW: available on many places including S17 store
Fillide by Jocu: available on Jocu's shop
Regalia: 52kards, Shin Lim
White Regalia: Shin Lim
Cobra by JPGames: 52kards
Butterfly refills: available at Butterfly shop
Liber Ludorum by Ian Cumpstey: available on his website

Re: Cartamundi's famed B9 stock
- Added Little Deck of Horrors by Ellusionist on the list. Thanks Harvonsgard for pointing out this one as well.
- Added Salt&Bone + Jurassic Park.
- Also changed the Buttefly playing cards link to half bricks as bricks were meanwhile sold out.

Re: Cartamundi's famed B9 stock
This is so far the cheapest way to load up with B9 if you're from US. It comes about $2.80/deck:
